Operations Manager for an immersion cooled Bitcoin mining facility located in Medicine Hat, AB.

-Adhere to all safety standards and company policies while providing PPE/equipment, enabling and training all staff to complete their tasks in a safe and timely manner.-Responsible for scheduling each shift worker’s activities, as well as passing on all relevant information to the next support shift (failure, maintenance, organizational issues).-Setting S.M.A.R.T. Goals and preparation and planning on executing the desired goals on time. Including before and after KPI (Key Performance Indicators) of both myself and staff.-Issue accurate work tickets, log work hours, down time, inventory, and all materials used in ERP software.Experience in monitoring Medicine Hat, Drumheller, and Three Hills site operations through software (Razzmon/SCADA/Foreman) to monitor diagnostics such as power loads, transformers, breakers, temperatures, damper positions, humidity, and airflow, & adjusting accordingly.-Assisted in construction and installation of Blockchain Box Air Conditioned units including building of miners, transportation & installation, CAT5 & fiber optic cabling to the cameras and switches.-Maintenance & operations of over 28,000 Bitcoin ASIC mining machines including troubleshooting and repair of all electrical components while adhering to all safety standards.-Proven ability to work in all weather conditions safely and effectively.

-Delegated work to suit each person’s strengths and weaknesses and to promote healthy workloads and effective time management. Attended production meetings, scheduling meetings, as well as lending expertise in technical fields.-Worked in conjunction with Senior Managers, Warehouse/Shipping & Receiving, Purchasing, Shop foreman, & Engineers to manage and schedule efficient and successful projects while creating and designing complex drawings for pressure vessels up to 12’-0” in diameter, 2.5” thick carbon steel at pressure ratings of 1440psi to strict provincial codes in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.-Worked and communicated long distance daily in conjunction with highly specialized instrumentation and fittings suppliers (such as Spartan Controls & MRC Global) to quote and order highly customized products. Ensuring quality and adhering to highly specific customer requirements while minimizing unnecessary costs and quantities was required for each job.-Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as Visual for inventory management and purchasing.

-Responsible for drafting Individual Ownership Plans, Pipeline Lease Agreements, AER/ERCB plans, Construction Plans, Valve & Facility sites, Contour Plans, As-builts, Typical Crossings, Master File Compilations, Survey Engineering Notes, Route Change Proposals, and Crown Submissions.-Was appointed lead draftsmen on the EEP (Energy East Pipeline Project) on the New Brunswick portion and directed a team of five draftsmen.-Successfully aided in creating and maintaining key lisp routines resulting in improved companywide drafting efficiency as well as aiding in quality control.-Experienced in working on large scale team projects with strict deadlines through long distance communication.
