I graduated UNM with a M.S. in Applied Mathematics (2023) and a B.S. in Mathematics of Computations with a minor in Computer Science (2019). My field of study focused in machine learning, namely neural networks, and more specifically, physics-informed neural networks (PINNs). My thesis incorporated PINNs in a semi-recent parallel-in-time integrator method (partial differential equation solver) known as Multigrid-Reduction-In-Time (MGRIT). I recently completed a course in PINNs from the University of Alberta (2024) at the Developers Level. I hope to find work in R&D in the machine-learning field as well as the world of computation. I am still very much a blank slate in the realm of computational math, so I could easily transition into whatever field I'm given an opportunity to work in. My dream would be to get into one of the major labs within NM related to my field of study.I am most familiar with Python, but have used a variety of other languages such as Matlab, R, Java, and C during my time in university.
