My goal is be part of a diverse range of programs and initiatives where I can bring my leadership, contract & policy management experience to combine two critical areas that deeply align with my life experience & core personal and professional value set; disability awareness/equality & VET educationIn any leadership role it is the role of the leader / leadership team to set the example in which their team can follow and exceed. As CEO of a registered training organisation, I directly managed the leadership team & worked with them directly in compliance, learning & development, budgeting and finance, talent acquisition, learner recruitment both B2B & B2C and overseen day to day functions of the education management industry. I have a proven track record of delivering high-quality vocational education and training to a diverse range of learners, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices. Whilst CEO in 2020 the RTO achieved an ASQA delegate status whilst putting together a governance and academic board.I graduated from Victoria University with an Advanced Diploma in Business Management, which equipped me with the start up knowledge to develop the skills to lead and manage a successful group of individuals which in-turn created a successful organisation. As a proud TAE holder I like to be hands on - I teach & assess classes, develop Training & Assessment Strategies, visit work places and complete session plans. I enjoy instructional design by developing formative & summative assessments, working with SME’s to contextualise learning resources - it’s gratifying to be part of a quality product from end to endI train & assess qualifications in the hospitality, commercial cookery, business, leadership & management, human resource management, employability skill sets and micro-credentials & animal service industries. Passion projects are must and being involved in creating awareness and assisting in programs that create awareness around equality and opportunity for individuals with a disability - whether that be on a board, sponsoring athletes for a special Olympics, helping create individual care plans or simply cooking a bbq at a fundraiser, I am just happy to part of it. I owned my first business at 20, I have the privilege of having some of the best mentor’s and along the way I have learnt what does and importantly what doesn’t.I enjoy learning & challenges assist RTO’s and organisations in the disability & community services sectorMy Inspiration comes from my pride and joy - my daughter! 😀
