My training and experience lend themselves to projects in the domains of cognitive neuroscience specifically, physiological signal processing and algorithm development more generally.In my previous position as a Scientific Consultant at Brain Vision LLC, my role was the research sector equivalent of a medical science liaison (MSL) in the clinical sector. This includes consulting on neuroscience theory and implementation; sales functions and CRM; user training on hardware/software; technical and scientific support for labs across the US; and outreach via conferences, demonstrations, and workshops. I consulted and provided support for data collection and analysis for neuroscience methodologies such as EEG, fMRI, tDCS/tACS/tES, TMS, and fNIRS.As a graduate student and postdoctoral researcher at Emory University and the Atlanta VA Medical Center, I used neuroimaging (fMRI), neuromodulation (rTMS), and behavioral methods to study conceptual and language processing in the human brain. A separate line of work involved older adults with Parkinson's disease, understanding the cerebellar and striatal mechanisms of lower limb motor rehabilitation.
