I teach third grade at Henry Whittemore Elementary School in Waltham, MA. I plan and differentiate Math, ELA, Phonics, and Social Studies instruction for predominantly emergent bilingual students, and implement classroom routines to support student learning and foster social-emotional wellbeing. I work with families, as partners, to support the learning and wellbeing of all students.As of 2023, I have contributed to our schools Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) as a Lead Teacher. This role has entailed collaborating with other members of ILT to plan events and professional development that advances school goals defined in a School Improvement Plan.

Taught second grade at a public charter K-8 serving the city of Lawrence, Massachusetts.I was responsible for teaching ELA, Writing, Math, Phonics, Social Studies, and Science curriculum. I worked collaboratively with families to meet students' unique academic, social-emotional, and language needs in a predominantly emergent bilingual classroom.I served as one of two Third Grade Math curriculum planners for our three-school network. During the Covid-19 pandemic, this work has entailed adapting and creating slide decks and student materials for remote and hybrid instruction.
