I assisted the general manager and principal owners in the successful opening of the Lowlands Groups newest restaurant. Responsibilities included: helping to coordinate construction and design of the bar, writing a training program for the FOH staff, and creating menus for Beer, Wine and Cocktails. Once open, I was responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant in addition to my specific bar responsibilities which included: weekly inventory, ordering, scheduling, and controlling beverage cost (Profit & Loss management). Different from the other Lowlands restaurants, Bavaria aimed to be a destination spot for professional soccer fans. I helped to cultivate this reputation through social media outlets and participation in local events. I organized a World Cup promotion for the restaurant by garnering sponsorship from vendors. During my time, I was also able to garner sponsorship from the Lowlands Group for an indoor soccer team that I had started.

Empi, a division of DJO Global, is a leading manufacturer of medical products for pain management and rehabilitation. My position relied on knowledge of medical and biological sciences and, more importantly, excellent communication skills. After scheduling appointments either at home or in the clinic, I would train patients how to use our devices. I would provide continued support over the phone if needed. Meeting with clinicians to familiarize them with our products was another responsibility of mine.

Café Benelux is a full service casual dining restaurant specializing in European grand café style dining. In addition to daily operations of the restaurant, my specific responsibilities as a service manager included: scheduling, hiring, and training. During my time, I created a new training program for the FOH staff. To ensure staff development and continued education I organized regular meetings with the FOH staff.Café Benelux boasts a beer list that showcases over 200 Belgian and Belgian-style beers. Beer classes were mandatory for the hourly staff and were once taught exclusively by the Marketing director. I was the first manager to teach beer classes at Café Benelux.I also organized the integration of "Hot Schedules" online scheduling application in both the FOH and BOH.
