Senior Lecturer in physical chemistry in the School of Chemical & Physical Sciences (SCPS), Principal Investigator in the MacDiarmid Institute for Advanced Materials & Nanotechnology, and Rutherford Discovery Fellow. Duties include teaching, administration and managing an independent research group. Our group focused on synthesizing novel nano-structured materials for optoelectronic applications as well as building and testing functional devices. As a Senior Lecturer, I published 4 additional papers with 2 more in press and 5 currently in preparation, with an H-index of 21 and over 4400 total citations (3500 since 2012). Our group focused on perovskite solar cells (PCE currently >15%), perovskite nanocrystal LEDs, and IR active nanomaterials. I was also course coordinator for 2nd year physical chemistry for ~3 years and taught "spectroscopy", "dynamic electrochemistry", and "optoelectronic materials & devices" at the 2nd year, 3rd year and post graduate levels, respectively.

Lecturer in physical chemistry in the School of Chemical and Physicals Sciences (SCPS), Associate Investigator in the Macdiarmid Institute for Advanced Materials & Nanotechnology, and named a Rutherford Discovery Fellow in 2015. Duties include teaching, administration and managing an independent research group. Published 3 papers as PI, earned more than $1.1m NZD in research funding, built a new optoelectronics research lab and started SCPS's perovskite solar cell program. Our first paper on perovskite physics was one of the top 10 most read papers at JPCL in 2015. At the time of promotion, I am an author on ~30 research papers with an H-index of 19 and >3000 total citations (GoogleScholar). Awarded a prestigious Rutherford Discovery Fellowship for emerging research leaders in New Zealand in 2014.
