OptaSense is the world-leader in providing Distributed Acoustic Sensing solutions and services for the oil & gas, transport and security industries.As part of the Technical and Data Services division I specialise in transport applications, ranging from road installations and traffic monitoring solutions to rail installations providing rock fall monitoring solutions, security solutions and development work for future products.As an analyst my role is dual purpose. I provide proposal and pricing support whilst also frequently being part of the deployment teams for installations, trials and demonstrations. The role includes an array of tasks including data analysis, installation of equipment, report writing, scripting, preparation pricing proposals, presentations and support.

OptaSense is the world-leader in providing Distributed Acoustic Sensing solutions and services for the oil & gas, transport and security industries.The OptaSense Graduate Development Program is designed to produce future leaders of the business and incorporates structured training into a series of placements in a variety of business sectors.I completed four rotations; in the Transport team, Oilfield Services division, the systems engineering team and an additional extended rotation with the Transport team where I developed skills spanning both business,commercial and technical disciplines.After successfully completing the graduate scheme I joined the Transport team as an Operations Analyst.
