Lead and develop a UK wide project controls team within the Rail & Geotechnical (R&G), Europe Operating Unit ensuring delivery of business level objectives. Provide direct support to our key projects and Project Managers, promote and develop the use of Project Controls as a discipline and implement and embed current industry best practice.Managing the R&G Project Controls discipline to ensure that all projects are set up and maintained using Jacobs’ policies and procedures.Develop a Project Controls structure across the business, building on the current team by portfolio and key location. Promote continual improvement and maintain the Project Controls discipline as a leader in best practice.Undertake resource management and development of Project Controls staff throughout R&G by recruiting and developing staff.Lead and develop integration with Global Integrated Delivery teams to undertake delivery of Project Controls from these regions.Deliver key business analytical data to support business operations.Act as the focal point between the global transformation team and the R&G team and implement key transformation initiatives.Work with other Operating Unit Heads of Project Controls across Europe and Globally to share and develop best practices with regional counterparts.Manage the monthly and quarterly process for project triggers, watch list and performance reviews.Support pricing development on major pursuits.

Support the Transportation Head of Project Controls in delivering the remit set for our projects portfolio at business level.Provide direct support to our key projects and Project Managers ensuring the application of industry current technique and best practice.Promote and develop the use of Project Controls as a discipline and implement and embed current industry best practice.Develop a Project Controls structure across the business, building on the current team by portfolio and key location.Lead and develop integration with Global Integrated Delivery teams to undertake delivery of Rail Project Controls from these regions.Work closely with the Transportation Head of Project Controls & Management team to deliver key business analytical data to support business operations.Facilitate best practice, value enhancing practice and learning across Rail enhancing its capability.Promote continual improvement and maintain the Project Controls discipline as a leader in best practice.Act as the focal point between the global transformation team and the Transportation team and implement key transformation initiatives.Managing the Rail Project Controls discipline to ensure that all projects are set up and maintained using Jacobs’ policies and procedures.Undertaking the resource management and development of Project Controls staff throughout Transportation by recruiting and developing staff.Developing and implementing standardised project controls processes and tools.Share and develop best practices with regional counterparts.Attend OPRs and Admin Reviews.Manage the monthly and quarterly process for project triggers, watch list and performance reviews.Work with other PC leads and PMs to develop recovery plans for projects.Support pricing development on major pursuits.
