Part of a small Fleet Readiness Directorate (FRD) team assisting Navy Fleet Cyber command, 10th Fleet by providing system administration and support at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Far East, Yokosuka, Japan. This role entails Subject Matter Expert level support for all information systems and applications used within the AN/USQ-122 SHARKCAGE Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) enclave to include Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and workstations, network devices, Storage Area Network (SAN) storage, virtual machines, ESXi servers, and data analysis software.

Yokosuka, Kanagawa

Served as part of a team of contractors supporting Commander Navy Region, Japan (CNRJ) Naval Forces Japan (CNFJ) Information Technology (IT) and Communications Services contracts. These contracts supported several of the mission functions that the Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for. The contracts focused mainly on supporting Emergency Management and Public Safety Systems, ensuring Information Assurance and Cybersecurity practices are followed, and acting as a liaison between users and military communications service providers.

Honorably discharged as a First Class Petty Officer. Earned Enlisted Surface Warfare Qualifications (ESWS) onboard guided-missile cruiser (CG) and destroyer (DDG) platforms. Achieved qualification as a Combat System Officer of the Watch onboard CG 62. Served as the Ground Electronics Maintenance Officer and Acting Chief Information Officer for Naval Air Facility Atsugi.
