After my temporary loan to Brazil, returned to working as a Subsea Interventions Engineer in the Front End space for deepwater projects. Mature projects through the opportunity funnel to DG3 and prepare work packages for the execution engineers to execute. Was temporarily moved to Brazil to bring my GoM abandonment expertise to the Bijupira and Salema P&A project. Created programs and executed operations on high-risk integrity compromised wells to enable FPSO sail away in 2023. Successfully completed PA/TA on 7 wells.An additional responsibility prior to the operation was to recertify and SIT the Shell Brazil owned intervention riser system and integrate into the MODU selected for the operation. For non-compliances found within the system, was able to manage repair/replacement plans that kept the project on schedule without delays to the rig.

Also was project manager for development of the new Shell owned intervention riser system (MDIS) carrying the project from design, manufacturing, qualification, certification, to first deployment.

Short Term International Assignment Working in the Wells Technology R&D group in Shell out of the Rio de Janeiro office. Responsible for managing and delivering new completion technology to the business while maximizing ANP Levy funds use. Manage the whole technology delivery process from project inception to commercialization: contracting, negotiation, technical reviews, budget disbursement, etc. Many projects are worked in conjunction with Petrobras for NOV assets.

Working as a Completion Engineer on the Shell Stones subsea project that ties back to the Turritella FPSO. Support design and procedure writing for the project as well as documenting risks and learnings. Wells are completed in ultra deepwater (>9,000') using a drillship so have a firm understanding of operations at this depth. The lower completion on the most recent well is the first of its kind anywhere offshore and we were able to complete below cost targets.

Working on the Business Improvement Team for GoM Completions as the Upper Completion lead. This team was created to help streamline the GoM Completions business and to quickly incorporate lessons learned into standard practice. The team focused on standardization, continuous improvement, capturing best practices, and help Shell realize their 50% well cost reduction by 2020 (succeeded 3 years ahead of schedule). Created sharepoint websites to organize the groups standard documents, created a learning loop that would take improvements learned from FEED and Operations and put them immediately into standard work, and coordinated efforts in the TLP and Subsea assets to increase efficiency in staff utilization.

Working as a Completions Engineer for the Brutus tension leg platform asset out of the Woodcreek complex. Responsibilities include new completions, decompletions, and recompletions. Work with Shell Development teams, Operations teams, vendors, and BSEE to safely and efficiently execute operations. Also the focal point for trees and tubing hangers for all Shell TLPs. That role includes vendor business performance reviews, safety audits, contract management, RCFAs, as well as provide guidance to other Completion and Well Intervention Engineers when writing execution procedures.

I am working on the Deepwater P&A team out of New Orleans but am located in the Woodcreek complex in Houston. I design, implement, and execute P&A activities in the GoM shelf and deepwater. I also manage BSEE and local regulations of operations to make sure all are executed lawfully. Specific skills: lift boat and rigless P&A, jack up rig P&A, legacy/high risk P&A, Coiled tubing and Wireline interventions, and platform/site and well diagnostics for safe operations.

As part of Shell's Competency training, I worked a field assignment in the Gulf of Mexico working in the Well Service group as a Well Servicing Site Supervisor (Company Man). I supervise crews doing well intervention work on deepwater TLPs and coordinate logistics for hauling equipment to and from the platforms. Supervision responsibilities include: Coiled Tubing, Slickline, Braided Line, E-Line, Pumping Operations, and Hydraulic Pulling Unit P&A work.Following this assignment I successfully passed my Round II exam and received my Round II Certification from Shell.

I also work in the well intervention group and specialize in slickline interventions. I also have experience with e-line, coiled tubing, workover rig, and bullheading operations.
