21 years Construction experience. I’ve had the pleasure of working across a broad range of projects both in the civil and electrical industries. I’ve gained over 10+ of experience as a Project Manager and have delivered a large range of projects including, HV infrastructure, Photovoltaics (PV), Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) customer connections, Network Rail customer connections, Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) customer connections, IT, operational tripping, refurbishment, replacement and new build. I have delivered a portfolio of projects with values in excess of £400m+.I’m been a member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM) for 8+ years and am currently working towards charter-ship. I have lead a team of multi-discipline Commercial, Design, Development and Delivery Engineers in the delivery of key programme activities and milestones to achieve a successful outcome in delivering a portfolio of projects. My role has also been to engage and provide leadership across the different disciplines, bringing together the knowledge and experience within the business and externally to progress the programme of works. I have progressed several work-streams which are looking to create projects that move with consistency whilst also providing the business the information allowing decisions to be made quickly and empowering those within the team to raise the issues but look to at what mitigation is available. My main achievements whilst carrying out the role of Senior Project Manager have been the successful delivery of several electricity transmission/distribution projects safely, on time and budget. I have embedded a safety culture in the individual project teams I have managed to drive safety excellence from a bottom up approach in the pursuit for team members to actively report near misses; incidents etc.
