Scrum Master And Full Stack Developer Of Predictive Maintenance ToolSkf Group Apr 2020 - Feb 2024Gothenburg, Västra Götaland County, SwedenThe assignment consisted of developing a cloud-based predictive maintenance tool called Enlight, made to detect and prevent unplanned stops of machines due to ball bearing failure. The analysis tool would present, prioritize and automatically report if a machine was OK or needed some action. The analysis tool took input from several AI algorithms and we implemented functions to train the algorithms.The predictive maintenance tool was made of several backend services served by AWS based lambdas that were programmed in GO and used a POSTgres database. The web interface was built as a SPA and was programmed in React JS and Typescript. The entire application was tested and delivered to the various test environments using a CI/CD toolchain.In the assignment, I worked as a Scrum Master where I coached the team in agile methods and worked as a full stack developer. I also took full responsibility for testing the system by writing integration tests that were run in a CI/CD chain.

There was a frontend application that was built in React that could present the data in multiple ways for the user. It consisted of components that contained vehicle utilization data, vehicle and driver data and a component that could generate excel and pdf. It also consisted of an admin tool that also was written in React. There was also a subscription solution that sent a “magic link” to subscribers that could log in to the portal without user authentication.During this mission I had the overall responsibility to build and define how the report tool components within Volvo Connect should work together. I also worked as a developer and did coding in ReactJS where we used react, redux, redux-saga and hooks. My main focus was to improve the performance by analyzing the code and refactoring it to be built in the most efficient way.
