The assignment was to help and start up a new development initiative that could replace the existing Condition Monitoring System within SKF. The project consisted of 5 development teams, a requirements team and a test team. The assignment consisted of setting up processes for the entire development chain from requirements to development and testing. Made sure that the project/program worked in an agile way, had a clear Way Of Working, coached the teams and ensured that the project delivered on time and held joint ceremonies.

The assignment consisted of developing a cloud-based predictive maintenance tool called Enlight, made to detect and prevent unplanned stops of machines due to ball bearing failure. The analysis tool would present, prioritize and automatically report if a machine was OK or needed some action. The analysis tool took input from several AI algorithms and we implemented functions to train the algorithms.The predictive maintenance tool was made of several backend services served by AWS based lambdas that were programmed in GO and used a POSTgres database. The web interface was built as a SPA and was programmed in React JS and Typescript. The entire application was tested and delivered to the various test environments using a CI/CD toolchain.In the assignment, I worked as a Scrum Master where I coached the team in agile methods and worked as a full stack developer. I also took full responsibility for testing the system by writing integration tests that were run in a CI/CD chain.

In this role I worked as a frondend developer optimaizing the performance in a report tool. The report tool was programmed in React JS and used Redux JS and Styled Componets. I also made an administation tool for configuring the data flow from vehicle to AWS.

The report tool consists of several AWS services. There was a frontend application that was built in React that could present the data in multiple ways for the user. It consisted of components that contained vehicle utilization data, vehicle and driver data and a component that could generate excel and pdf. It also consisted of an admin tool that also was written in React. There was also a subscription solution that sent a “magic link” to subscribers that could log in to the portal without user authentication.During this mission I had the overall responsibility to build and define how the report tool components within Volvo Connect should work together. I also worked as a developer and did coding in ReactJS where we used react, redux, redux-saga and hooks. My main focus was to improve the performance by analyzing the code and refactoring it to be built in the most efficient way.

Dynafleet is a fleet management system that manages driving information from truck fleets. The system consists of several parts, including a map application and a report generator.My assignment consisted in developing existing Dynafleet application as well as maintaining it. The application was built in JAVA, JSP and an Oracle DB. In parallel, a new Dynafleet service was developed that was cloud-based, where I was developing a new report generator made in both Angular JS and React JS.

Software Developer and Test Manager for On-Board Charger. The mission was to develop a 3 -phase charger to busses. It included requirement refinement, implementation and testing. The software was built and tested automatically with Jenkins using unit test and black box test. Requirement fulfillment was presented in a report.

Software Developer for a DCU. The mission was to develop software to a DCU (Display Control Unit) and secure quality using automated tests. The unit had configurable in- and out - ports and communicated with 2 CAN-channels using J1939 protocol. The software for the ECU was developed in C.

Jonsered

Software developer of a HMI to road saw.The mission was to develop a HMI that could present information like engine speed, temperature, cutting depth and trouble codes. The HMI was the master node of the saw and was able to communicate with the engine ECU.The HMI consisted of 2 parts, a display unit that was running Embedded Linux (LTIB) and was programmed with C/C++, QT and QML. The second part was an IO-controller that was programmed in C. The unit communicated using a CAN-bus.The work consisted of development of specifications, configuration of Linux, software development and secure software quality.

The mission was to lead and help two engineering students with their thesis. The aim of the thesis was to examine and implement a mobile trip computer that communicates via the 3G network.In the thesis it was included to develop 3G hardware for implementation in a simulated car in the form of a go-cart. The mobile application was programmed to run on an Android phone. The mobile application communicates with a MySQL server on the vehicle and retrieves information about run histories in the form of GPS location, average speed, battery health, time to fully-charge battery, etc. The mobile application could also put the vehicle in different "modes".

Software development of safety critical systems.The mission was to participate in a European R & D project "CHARTER" where the aim of the project was to verify a tool chain for developing safety-critical systems. The scope was to develop applications using UML and then generate Java code. The code has then formally verified and automated test cases were generated using JML.The tool chain was verified by developing a demo car in the form of an electric go kart. The go kart consisted of a cluster of 3 CAN based ECUs, an HMI node, a battery node and a motor speed control node.The task was to develop specifications for the ECUs, develop the software and secure the quality. The development was done in UML, JML and RTJava and implementation followed the AUTOSAR standard. Build and customizing a Linux OS for embedded systems was also part of the work

The mission was to be responsible for the software for the chassis nodes. The main tasks was to be the interface to the subcontractor and internally at Volvo 3P, responsible for reviewing specifications and secure quality of delivered software, through testing and examination of documents and processes. The commission was also to provide the subcontractor with information and to help in troubleshooting the vehicles. Chassinoderna consisted of three ECUs. A front, a center and a rear chassis IO module. The nodes are handled lighting, batteries, air suspension, trailer and other external sensors and actuators on the vehicle. The ECUs followed the AUTOSAR standard and communicated via CAN and LIN buses.

Test engineer for EHPAS (Electric Hydralic Power Assistance Steering)The mission was to test the power steering system, EPAS and EHPAS and assuring the quality of the software for future car models. These tasks include developing test specifications, developing test environments, write test reports, conduct test method development and to be involved in the development of future products such as the upcoming micro hybrid systems.

The mission was to develop and produce complete manufacturing documentation and software for a machine to stabilize protein samples in the pharmaceutical industry. The work consists of both developing the concept and develop a producible machine.The machine consists of components such as stepper motors, lasers for measuring the protein sample height, servo motor, sensor for measuring the vacuum pressure, barcode reader, and a 4.3 inch touch-screen display for user interaction. Touch-screen display is controlled by a built-x86 computer.The main task was to be responsible for the design and implementation of software in Java for x86 card, including HMI touch-screen display and logging.
