Oversee the full scope of all operational activities with direct accountability for Broadcast, Studio and Productions teams, Direct P&L accountability for $mm Op Ex budget and team of 150 FTE. Responsible for leading all operational departments in planning and implementation of initiatives that support business products, ensuring all KPI’s are achieved. Leading individual departments from a commercial and strategic perspective, including financial planning, management of operational budgets, business case building and ongoing continuous service improvement plans. Partnering with Executive, Production and Technology teams to ensure QoS, create an open environment whereby feedback is sought and acted upon, setting the direction and providing advice on solutions to operational issues. Management of third party and external supplier relationships, both domestic and international. Partnered with multiple clients, vendors and stakeholders for the successful launch and delivery of branded channels, shows and content initiatives i.e., FOX League, FOX Cricket, Ultra HD.  Responsible for the successful delivery and playout of >12,000 hours of live sport and events for linear and streaming.  Successfully leveraged FOX Sports assets, workflows and teams to launch Kayo Sports streaming service to market.  Delivered multiple successful RFP tender processes and contract renegotiations including for new MAM, captioning and domestic and international content delivery deals.  Drove service and operational improvements to control volume growth reducing ‘cost per live hour’ by 20% over 2-year period. Implemented multiple content rationalisation initiatives delivering >$mm full year savings to Op Ex and Cap Ex budgets via data driven analysis of volumes, resourcing plans and workflows.

- Responsible for leading the 140 strong (with 8 direct reports) Broadcast Operations team across multiple states that includes Presentation & play out of channels, Studios, Edit, Media Services and Ingest, ENG crews, Radio Operations and Sub titling teams. - Driving improvements in all areas of live and non-live TV and radio to ensure team supports divisional and corporate initiatives and instilling significant cultural transformation to a service based organisation delivering excellence in a cost conscious climate. - FIFA 2014 World Cup. Liaising with internal clients in Sport, News & Current Affairs and TV Content to ensure delivery of studio based live and pre-recorded magazine and entertainment shows, ENG crews on location in Brazil and Australia, facilitating multi-language match calls from international providers via SBS radio, turnaround and delivery of content for on-line and live and file based captioning to maintain legislative requirements. - Part of internal team assigned to investigate and evaluate the potential outsource of key components of SBS’s broadcast play out systems and infrastructure. Project involves scope definition, detailed requirement gathering, risk mitigation strategies and vendor assessment. - Management of outsourced play out contract for SBS’s STV channels World Movies and Studio and NITV including monitoring service provision KPI’s, channel enhancements and service credit invocation.

- Liaising with all internal and external contacts on the effective and efficient operation and integration of Programming Operations and systems with affected parties.- Responsible for representing FOXTEL Channels Group on appropriate committees, taskforces, projects around the development of changes and improvements to any connecting systems and operations. Specifically liaising on programming, scheduling, transmission and broadcast systems on behalf of FOXTEL Channels Group.- Responsible for strategic planning and development of initiatives, changes and integrations to ensure the most effective operational support in the delivery of entertainment worth paying for. - Responsible for liaising with FCG staff on operational needs and requirements including education, development and integration to best assist the execution and delivery of the best possible television product.
