Direct Support Professional
Current-Providing support and opportunities for individuals with a varying range of diagnosed mental and physical disabilities. -Responsible for medication distribution at appropriate scheduled times, including having a working knowledge of clients' scheduled MAR and PRN medications, purposes of said medications, as well as side effects of said medications.-Maintain a working knowledge of the Utah Provider Code of Conduct, HIPPA Laws and Regulations at all times.-Responsible for maintaining current CPR and First-Aid certifications, Food Handler's Permit, SOAR (Support, Options, Actions for Respect) Intervention Training, ANE (Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation) Training, and Human Rights Training. -Responsible for having a working knowledge of, and following, Human Rights Committee approved Behavior Support Plans and Supervision Guidelines specific to each individual client, including filling out data collection for each individual client.
