- As the first data scientist at Perpay, I built the first version of Perpay's analytics platform (AWS, Airflow) in order to create an automated, up-to-date repository of reliable data that has delivered insights to many different departments. It's been extremely cathartic watching this platform grow to where it is today.- With an ever-increasing data warehouse of reliable, curated, and tested data, I performed investigations and inquires to provide greater insights/reports/tools to stakeholders.- I constructed Perpay's first risk profiling machine learning model that reduced our risk exposure during some very difficult macro-economic climates and increased our insight into our users.- As our group has expanded, I like to think we have instilled an amazing culture of striving for rigor in all investigations and to continue to learn and seek out new and novel methodologies.At Perpay, we believe everyone deserves a chance to improve their financial future.
