Insight Manager - Sky Studios
Managed the testing, tracking, and reporting process for Sky original titles across European markets, providing insights to inform strategic decisions across the content lifecycle.Key elements of the role included:- Pre-broadcast testing, working closely with the commissioning editors to guide early production by conducting title, synopsis, and pilot testing, collecting development feedback to measure aspects such as interest, association, and intention to view.- Collaborating with local markets to align measurement structures, implement reporting, and facilitate cross-market decision making. - End-of-series reviews to guide recommission decisions for UK Sky Original scripted Drama and Comedy titles. This involved measuring final performance vs. benchmarks based on viewing, enjoyment, engagement, talkability and social; and gathering viewer and non-viewer survey feedback on discovery, perception, cast, and development. Reviews shaped successful franchises such as Gangs of London, A Discovery of Witches, Brassic, and COBRA.- Daily stakeholder support for cross-functional teams across Sky Studios and the wider Content Entertainment department.- Managing strategic projects exploring themes such as the potential for foreign language drama content across international markets, and content mix and value of acquired distributor and Sky-commissioned content in the UK.
