The question “why?” is at the heart of everything around us. Looking at the depth of human ingenuity, I find myself constantly asking this question and am always looking to discover more and more about the world. Over the years this has led me down various rabbit holes including classical economics, German idealism, Chinese painting, clawhammer banjo, and Hindu philosophy. Perhaps, therefore, it was inevitable that I found myself working in Information Management as every day I help people who are asking “why?”A company can live and die by its intellectual property. While employees come and go, the IP they create will always be one of a firm’s most valuable assets. When consultants come to me looking for answers and solutions, I set them up with the tools and materials they need to serve our clients and generate value. At the same time, I ensure our IP remains ours and protect it without hesitation. You can find me hiking, painting, trying to make sense of Kant, converting the Beatles to banjo (it works, trust me), and planning trips to Asia.
