I have worked as a professional civil engineer for 44 years. The last 33 years have been spent on the design and inspection of concrete, earthfill and rockfill dams. Since joining HR Wallingford in 2012 I have inspected dams in UK and have also been appointed to Panels of Experts for dams in Albania, Rwanda, Malawi, Vietnam and Tanzania. Show less

Particular interest in Hydrology, Seismic engineering, Risk Analyses, Hydropower, Dam Engineering and related subjects.
