Following the sale of Minivator to the Handicare Group I was appointed the UK Operations Director. with P&L responsibIlity for all UK sites including; manufacturing, logistic's (on-time delivery to a worldwide customer base) the supply chain from the Far East, European & Local, including the full range of Handicare products supplied from the UK.

Minivator Group Limited was a private equity backed company, along with other senior team members I took the opportunity to participate in equity involvement with a view to a future sale (completed in May 2010). Originally employed as the Manufacturing Manager, I was promoted during the first year taking responsibility for the UK supply chain. I was instrumental in pay negotiations with the unions which achieved Doncaster’s first ever 2 year performance related pay deal and was the focal point for introduction of very successful monthly Kaizen events on site.
