Other responsibilities that arise throughout this role:• Reconstruction and validation of exploration databases. Primarily the conversion of flat file historic data into a more manageable relational database structure.• Implementation of the mining production reconciliation processes at Aguas Blancas Iodine mine, Chile. • Interpretation and wireframe modelling of a range of different gold deposit types as well as other commodities (Iodine and Lithium).• Organisation, validation and plotting of diverse data sets for due diligence reviews.• Testing and interrogation of block models for validation and reporting purposes.• Review of mining shells and pit designs, validation against drill data and block models.• Production of batches of printed sections for display and interpretation purposes.• Production of DTM’s from gridded point data sets, e.g. topographic surfaces and oxidation surfaces. • Continued implementation of improved procedures for data processing and data storage.• Administration of the office small business network, with particular diligence paid to the backup of critical network resources.• On-going staff training in software packages as well as answering support queries from colleagues.
