Both of these experiences allowed me to examine the way food serves as fuel for our bodies and how different nutritional choices can make a difference in our energy levels, sleep, stress, and overall health. My career goal is to become a nutritionist and work with athletes to educate them on how their food choices can play a role in their performance.Through my coursework in the sciences and on-campus activities like GoodFood4U and Nutrition Club, I have developed the analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills necessary to succeed in this field. I am open to networking and learning about possible internship and job shadow opportunities in the fields of nutrition and health.
