Jonathan integrates GitOps, leveraging Flux2, into the Azure Arc for Kubernetes platform using Kubernetes controller-runtime, Go, Helm, and Kustomize. Additionally, Jonathan supports the Kubernetes Configuration resource provider service using ASP.NET, C#, Python, and Helm.

He supported the creation of a registration system using Django and SQLite as well as creating website and registration site mock-up designs using UI/UX design tools in Figma and design marketing materials using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop.

Jonathan developed features within the Microsoft Azure Compute infrastructure to automate various IT tasks such as anti-virus software installation and password rotation on customer virtual machines using Go and C++. He implemented unit testing using Go’s built-in unit testing framework and built code for deployment using CI/CD through Microsoft Azure.

In his time with HowdyHack, Jonathan helped design, develop, and deploy the public-facing website and registration system on a CentOS server through the use of HTML5/CSS/JavaScript and the Angular and Node.js frameworks.

Jonathan supported the cloud operations team by developing fullstack web applications to assist engagement with the team. One application was built using Angular, Flask, and mySQL and assessed the maturity and feasibility of a business unit's cloud infrastructure. As part of the fullstack web team at Sympliact, Jonathan lead the team in UI/UX by developing the majority of the team's frontend build in React. Additionally, he supported the backend system by integrating the Realm.io database into the system using Redux and Node.js.

While serving as a software engineering intern with the technical services team, Jonathan created a bot to assist the technical services team with case management. By using Cisco's Spark API provided through Cisco DevNet, he developed a system developed with Python and Node.js that routed all messaging and updates that went through their case management.
