Jonathan is a chartered town planner with a degree in Town and Country Planning and a Diploma in Town Planning from Oxford Brookes University. He started his planning career in 2004 and was elected to full membership of the RTPI in 2007. He joined Bell Cornwell in 2008 having previously worked in the private sector elsewhere.His experience has included a wide range of work, principally in development control, including initial planning appraisals, preparing and managing planning applications, Certificates of Lawful Development and planning appeals.Examples include the preparation and submission of planning applications for residential and commercial developments for the private sector, as well as smaller scale schemes, often for private householders. On a day to day basis he provides planning advice to clients, together with the continual monitoring and negotiation of planning applications and ongoing project management.Jonathan’s work is predominantly based across the South of England including the Home Counties, the South West and London. Projects range from small development schemes to larger sites for residential, commercial and mixed use developments.
