One of my key roles is to manage cases within policies and the banks risk appetite, mitigating and reject risk, whilst also building and maintaining the relationship between the customer and Santander, This has been invaluable experience as it has helped develop my organisation skills further, as well as develop new relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally. Whilst in this role I taken on additional responsibilities such as dealing complex cases ranging from self-employed to high-net-worth individuals to the most vulnerable cases i.e. deceased change of borrowers. I have helped support customers during this stage by explaining the intended journey and by managing the customers’ expectations, such as giving the customer timescales to complete an application. I have worked vigilantly with other areas such as the Mortgage relationship Managers and Mortgage Advisors making sure handovers have been seamless, in turn ensuring the best journey for the customer.
