DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Protecting computer systems and networks. - Develop & maintain Information Security Plans and Policies with yearly review or as need arise - Develop & maintain hardening checklist by adopting industrial best practice and review yearly - Plan and carry out an organization's Information security strategy. Develop a set of security standards and best practices for the organization, and recommend security enhancements to management as needed. - Develop strategies to respond to and recover from a security breach. - Educating the workforce on information security through training and building awareness. - Use of firewalls and data encryption programs to protect organizations' sensitive information. Also assist computer users with installation or processing of new security products and procedures. - Conducts quarterly scans of networks to find any vulnerability • Conduct bi-yearly penetration testing, in which they simulate an attack on the system to highlight or find any weaknesses that might be exploited by a malicious party - Must constantly monitor organization's networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions with software that helps to notify of intrusions, and watch out for irregular system behavior. - Leads incident response activities to minimize the impact. Afterwards, lead a technical and forensic investigation into how the breach happened and the extent of the damage. Prepare reports of the findings to be reported to management - Play a "hands-on" role in the above-mentioned areas when required by the situation, ensuring delivery in the different areas of responsibility - Follow up and optimize the contracts and Service Level Agreements in the areas of responsibility, both in offered services and in value for money, as well as structuring their monitoring and delivery through the PCI standard of operating processes.

•Provides complex technical oversight and enforcement of security directive, orders, standards, plans and procedures at user and server sites. Ensures systems support personnel receive / maintain security awareness and training.•Identifies security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities of network, systems, applications, and new technology initiatives. Develops, tests and operates firewalls, intrusion detection system systems, enterprise anti-virus systems and software deployment tools•Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel•Develops technical and programmatic assessments, evaluates engineering and integration initiatives and provides technical support to access security policies, standards and guidelines. Develops, implements, enforces and communicates security policies and/or plans for data, software applications, hardware and telecommunications.•Reviews, recommends and oversees the installation, modification or replacement of hardware or software components and any configuration change(s) that affects security.•Oversees user access process to ensure operational integrety of the system. Enforces the information security configuration and maintains system for issuing, protecting, changing, and revoking passwords.•Monitor user access process to ensure operational integrity of the system•Perform Security Monitoring based on Security Monitoring SOP•Monitor security audit and intrusion detection system logs on a regular basis for system and network anomalies•Implement, enforce and communicate security policies and/or plans for data, software applications, hardware and telecommunications•Manage Antivirus and Patch management tools & servers. (SCCM, WSUS, BIGFIX, TRENDMIRCO, SYMANTEC, NOD32 & etc.) •Perform Backup and Recovery based on Backup and Recovery SOP . Support complex data/media recoverability through system backups and database archive operations. Plan, coordinate and direct appropriate level data refresh strategies

RESPONSIBILITIES:Install, configure, maintain, and repair software/hardware in a Windows operating system environment; responsible for maintaining computers and peripherals.Provides assistance and performs technical tasks for office/home computer.Hires, trains member of the customer service department. Resolves difficult issues regarding client complaints and other matters. Works closely with managers in other departments, such as sales, on updating policies and procedures for client services.Provides overall information technology support to clients; participates in needs assessment and makes recommendations on specifications, configuration, replacement and usage of computer equipment and servers.Provide support and functions as a resource person answering questions and solving problems for individual users and minimize end user down time.Troubleshoot user problems with various issues such as applications, programs, server problems, login problems, etc.Provide system access support including account setup on applicable systems. Monitor location software license compliance.Provides hotline support to customers and may perform other duties as assigned.

Leading a team of 20 staffs in operation the warehouse which consists of receiving, unpacking, put away, picking, packing and shipping according to the Warehouse Management System (WMS).Conduct training of staffs on WMS and monitoring their progress and performance and overseeing the stock control.Keeping update with Key Performance Index (KPI) and producing daily report of the work done.Conducting daily stock count and maintenance of stock which resulted in 95% stock accuracy and reduction of shortages cost from RM120K to about RM15K in the month of August, 2004.Responding to and dealing with customer complaints where immediate action will be taken. Implemented the internal control procedures and systems where incoming inward, checklist, trackers documents where created resulting in less that 3% discrepancies in document and systems control.Handling receiving and distribution of automotive parts to whole of Malaysia namely PROTON, NAZA, MERCERES and PRODUA.Attending to staffs needs such as equipment handling, discipline, work delegation, projects towards zero defiance.Undertaking projects or jobs as and when designated by the management.To ensure a healthy, safe and clean working environment.
