Sales Manager
I travel to multiple sites across Allegheny, Fayette, and Westmoreland Counties each day to interact with potential customers, selling our services and related products for lawn, shrubbery, and vegetation care. After performing a day's worth of estimates, I meet with the owner to go over the cost-benefit analysis of each individual job, as well as the logistics and supplies needed to complete said job.
Laboratory Assistant
I served as a teaching assistant for both the Fall and Spring Semesters of an Organic Chemistry I & II laboratory course. I was responsible for mastery of laboratory instruments, such as a nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer and infrared spectrometer, and would walk each individual student through the steps involved with using said instruments. During experiments, I would monitor student progress as they performed the tasks at hand and aid them with any questions or issues that came up. I was also in charge of making sure the necessary chemicals and substances for each experiment was present in the required quantities prior to each laboratory session. When necessary, I was also available to the instructor to administer quizzes and exams to students. I offered out-of-class tutoring sessions to students to help with understanding course material, the technical aspects of the laboratory, as well as to study for upcoming quizzes and exams.

After much success with tutoring students as a teaching assistant, I was hired to be the course tutor for all Organismal Biology lectures and laboratories for the Fall semester, and the subsequent Plant Biology/Ecology lectures and laboratories during the Spring Semester.
