Quantum means 'more dimensions.' I have taken my share of excursions into hyper-dimensions as a quantum dynamics practitioner. I have researched quantum methods on classical computers for a decade and, in the process, helped Texas Tech University complete quantum computing patents since these algorithms apply to quantum computers as well. I would love to contribute to a research program for real-world applications. I started as a student at the University of Washington in Seattle, where I took Graduate classes as an undergrad and won the Anderson Award from the Physics department. Then, doing research each summer, somewhere, I was lucky enough to have three summers at Los Alamos National Laboratory. I learned about everything from Gamma-Ray bursters to producing work in the library with over 300 citations today in Quantum Computing.At Yale, I did the European tour of research. I started with a Particle theory concentration from UW and moved through experimental NMR, Atomic Molecular, Nuclear, and landed on Astrophysics. Of course, the student body wanted to be told how to think, but our chair said we all collectively "do it yourself," which is an excellent use of authority. My coworkers are now noteworthy data scientists at leading institutions. I continued to investigate my simple insight and interest into the basis of digital information. After graduate school, I did not have a telescope, so I decided to move to Quantum Chemistry to find a career path. While teaching a lot, I started at the University Of Houston and moved to Texas Southern University in 2013. I fought academic inequalities at an HBU while publishing our first major article in the Journal of Chemical Physics. After reading another algorithm paper, I realized my work had a more significant impact. Based on this work, I was a Research Scientist before moving to another University, Texas Tech University. My new adviser, Bill Poirier, took a chance on me and I eventually became an assistant research professor. He restored me to the community by guiding my works to a point where I could contribute. But Army Research Office funding ran out, so I moved to the industry in Dallas in 2019.TTU patented our work in 2021, so Bill and I co-founded a company in Texas, Quantum Galaxies Corporation, founded on the classical computational platform Andromeda. In 2022, I wrote Cepheus to generate scripts for Andromeda. With newly gained access to TTU HPC, we are pursuing all manner of computational species, including the quantum three-body problem, string theory, and the quantum salesman.
