Member of the CalSol Solar Vehicle team on the Electrical Team- Learned KiCad schematic design, PCB assembly, board bringup, and PCB soldering/crimping.- Learned about integrating CAN bus and I2C protocols. As well as, vehicle architecture considerations.- Debugged PCBs and firmware for the Battery Management System (BMS), horn, lights, etc. - Designed schematic of an ESP32-S3 development board used for future-generation vehicle which includes power monitoring capabilities, USB-C, and CAN bus support.

- Currently finishing an autoclavable temporal flooding hydroponic system for researchers working for the United States Department of Agriculture.Mechanical Design:- Archived temporal flooding without needing sensors or digital electronics by integrating bell/greedy/Pythagorean siphon. - System is autoclavable and easy to sterilize for different experimentations. - Used Blender to create product design renders to communicate design ideas effectively with researchers.Analog Electronic Design:- 555 timer and potentiometer control duty cycle of PWM signals to drive the pump motor.- MOSFET H-bridge controls the direction of the pump motor. - Used a water sensor to detect leaks by pulling the comparator's IN+ pin to LOW to activate kill-switch relay.

Assisted in identifying competitive inhibitors for DCAF-5 substrate receptor, part of E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, to interfere with adipocyte differentiation in cell systems for potential new obesity therapeutics.- Expressed and purified recombinant DCAF5 proteins from BL21 and DH5-alpha E. coli.- Assisted in PCR gene amplification of plasmids.- Conducted Gel Electrophoresis to verify plasmid size.- Verified plasmid DNA concentration.- Shared two research papers via PowerPoint to 20+ grad students and 1 professor at Journal Club.
