Pipeliner Clothing Company was established in 2015(MMXV). I myself, am a 2nd generation pipeliner who still works out on the lines in Australia today. Growing up hearing all the tales and stories my father told me about the life of a pipeliner, it was only fair that I would head out to the line and test if these stories were true. I wasnt disappointed. Yes the working conditions had changed and rules had tightened up, but the camaraderie and brotherhood still remains strong. Pipeliners are a staunch band of brothers and I wanted a range of clothing that would recognise us as a unique group of people. All sorts of people make up the pipelining family and I look to recognise all these groups with this clothing range. Spacer on specials crew on APA VINE project.

Currently constructing flow lines in the cooper basin. Pipe sizes ranging from 4-8 inch.

Responsible for all fit ups on the project. Completed all tie ins (including marking, cutting and final fit up). Very challenging tie ins as wall thickness of 42" pipe ranged from 30-37mm. Also with client requirements, pipes needed to be machine bevelled after cut. Which in turn once lam/mpi checked etc was taking 45-60mins to get in clamp after initial mark up. Was fortunate to work and liase well with tie in foreman's Kyle Prentice and Justin Abel.

Stabbing pipe on front end. Fill in Spacer. 300Km's of 8" pipe welded in 50 days. A credit to the crew and Steel Diamond Pty Ltd. An absolute pleasure to work under Micheal De Frietas.

Employed as a Spacer/ Leading hand. Responsible for running the front end/ side section and special crossings section crews. Competent in all aspects involved in the welding process. Including main line, special crossings, and tie-ins.

Responsible for running a special crossings welding crew through majority of hill sections and creek sections over the project. Towards the end of the project moved to tie-ins and was one of the crews to complete the "golden welds". The GLNG project covered some very challenging terrain and the experience that was gained over the project has taken my knowledge and capabilities to new heights. Overall a great job, working with a great crew. All welding crews across the job did an exceptional job. A credit to Steel Diamond Pty Ltd

Responsible for all welding operations on the glng trunk line systems including cold tap into Queensland gas line.

I have been involved in both gas and oil flow lines (pipelines). I am competent in all aspects of the process;Gas Flow Lines (steel) - Organising appropriate work permits, writing applicable JHA’s - Reading and understanding plans and drawings (elevations, excavation plans, site pegs, tie in specs, crossing specs, jump over specs etc.) - Organising the excavation process between operators and connections supervisor - Throwing skids and sand bags where necessary. - Stringing pipe (understanding the process. Allowing for carry backs, road crossings, tie ins etc.) -Welding pipe/ welding tie ins (T.A for welder, spacing/ setting gap for welder, stabbing pipe, setting up skids for pipe, dogman for slinging pipe.) - Blasting and coating (I have completed necessary site specific competencies to carry out both blasting and coating pipe/ joints) - Lowering in (liaising with operators to ensure safe lower in of pipe) - Backfill and reinstate - Installing marker posts and signs - Understanding and recording any associated documentation (pipe number recording, heat number recording, blast profile recording, coating thickness and hardness recording etc.)Oil Flow Lines (G.R.E/ fibreglass) - Organising appropriate work permits, writing applicable JHA’s - Reading and understanding plans and drawings - Organising excavation process between operators and connections supervisors - Throwing skids and sandbags whereby necessary - String pipe - Q.A pipe and joint numbers - Screw pipe (both manually and safely operate screw machine to correct tensions) - lowering in pipe (liaising between operators and ground crew) - Running trace wire and marker wire when shaded - Understanding hydro process to coincide with back and reinstate - Install marker posts and signs correctly - Understanding and recording any associated
