I am someone who values communication, education, and understanding.“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart.”While I excel in German instruction, as well as English as a Second Language, I have the soft skills from years of teaching that transfer to other areas. I am an excellent communicator, am detail oriented, and have the constitution and follow through to complete a project to the absolute best level that I can. I am always willing to learn and enjoy the challenge of a new task.I have taught German as a foreign language for eight years and have also taught English Learners. Additionally, I have experience teaching English as a Foreign Language in Germany as a Fulbright Scholar (2008-2009)When not working on lesson plans, I enjoy spending time with my family and our Australian Cattle Dog, who is a certified therapy dog, as well as working in the yard or going for a run.
