Spearheading data infrastructure management across AWS and GCP, involves the deployment and optimization of technologies including Apache Druid, Spark, Structured Streaming, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), Trino (PrestoSQL) and various RDBMS (MySQL, Postgres, AWS Aurora). Responsibilities include architecting and managing Datalake/Lakehouse frameworks using AWS Glue, Apache Iceberg, and Apache Kafka, ensuring seamless data integration and system reliability. Extensive performance tuning and systems optimization on Linux OS to maintain scalable, efficient operations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives, alongside leading initiatives to improve data processes and infrastructure. The role prioritizes security, compliance, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in data operations.
