About Jonathan Kay

Prosperity Law LLP is a leading commercial and private client firm with offices in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and London. As Commercial Director a big part of my role is the ongoing development and growth of the business - including key hires and acquisition opportunities.I qualified as a solicitor in 1994. Since then I have held senior roles at a number of leading firms - including Head of Real Estate - alongside other management positions.I moved away from fee earning a couple of years ago to concentrate on management roles but when I was "on the tools" my clients included banks, property funds, developers, private investors and owner-managed SMEs. I have extensive experience in dealing with property funds, particularly those focused on investment in student accommodation, ground rents and the private rented sector.
