My job is to simply teach, but I feel with the school I am at still in its development stages, it is my goal to assist in the school's growth and maturity.A nice little project for me, as I have never worked in a business going through its infancy.

After being promoted and moved to a different location, I was quickly fast-tracked into a higher management role, in which I had a hand in all things sales, marketing and was in charge of the development and expanding of the school.From this position I generated a high level of experience in staff training, producing a teaching standard and product reproduction demanded from HQ.Moreover - in accordance with the previous - I developed a confident demeanour and a professional approach to workshops. This gave me the ability to present effective, engaging workshops to large groups of people in a well-received way.Customer Demands:One of the most difficult aspects of this position was meeting customer demands, which often were stupendous, as with the nature of the culture. It was my job to dissolve any issues in an effective and quick manner, whilst keeping all parties involved pleased.

Problem Solving:Any issues the teaching staff encountered were reported to me to offer a productive, logical solution to. Over this period, I developed a way to motivate the teacher to find the solutions to their own problems, thus making them a more productive member of the team and making us a more productive unit as a whole.Admin Supervision:The teachers at EF have to turn over a relatively large amount of paperwork. The systemic network used by the company produced a large yield of teacher feedback from simple attendance registration to in-depth student performance - all of which had strict deadlines. The completion rate of these admin tasks all had an affect on the school's performance on a National leaderboard, thus were of high importance to the managing board, as it was fundamentally the way the school was assessed on an ongoing basics by EF HQ. My position had me monitoring these tasks and ensuring anything nearing the deadline date, or even overdue, were completed in a timely manner.Teacher Training:Being one of the most experienced and well-travelled teachers, I was often given the task on advising and developing the teaching standard to a level that the company expects. With a constant feedback from the managing board on concerns and issues, I was able to implement an effective scheme, where - through mentoring and motivation - I was able to improve the teaching standard and in turn staff morale.Management Role:Seeing as our Director of Studies at this particular time had responsibilities at other locations, I was often left running the day-to-day operations and my role eventually led to me taking over general running of the teaching department and its connection with the sales team. Events and Marketing:Towards the end of my time in this position, I was tasked with creating and overseeing the putting on of events. I was able to utilise my love for all things creative and produce events that were engaging and entertaining.
