Scope of engineering work included running preliminary hydraulic selections and producing GA drawings as well as generating FEED+ data sheets for pumps (API centrifugal, slurry, metering, sump, ANSI) and compressors (centrifugal, reciprocating, axial, integrally geared) across Licensor and Utility Units. Aggressive schedule with hundreds of deliverables with additional revamp scope added. Led work-share effort with global offices. Issued all deliverables on time or early.

Chevron North America Exploration and ProductionMidway Sunset Consolidation and Westside Produced Water Project (WPWP)Design Engineer IV: Lead Mechanical Engineer for the EPCM phase of the project. The scope of work included the consolidation of facilities at the Midway Sunset (MWSS) processing facilities to improve efficiency and operating expense. The activities performed included detailed engineering and design, staffing plans, progress & productivity tracking, change management and coordinating workshare effort from Fluor Philippines office.Also, functioned as Rotating Equipment Lead. Work included RFQ development, conducting bid conditioning meetings, generating Purchase Orders, data / drawing review and inspection / witnessed testing support. Per Chevron request, performed investigation study into the best pump type for the Production Transfer Pumps which would impart low shear to the produced water / oil emulsion for separation downstream, and be optimized for maintainability and reliability. A reciprocating duplex piston pump was chosen.

SCS Energy LLCHECA Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle ProjectDesign Engineer III: Responsible for specification, design and engineering of Centrifugal Compressors on this IGCC & CO2 Capture project designed to gasify 75% coal and 25% petroleum coke fuel blend to produce syngas for power generation and Urea and Ammonia (for fertilizer). Authored project specifications for Lubrication, Shaft-Sealing and Oil-Control Systems and Auxiliaries (API 614) and Centrifugal Compressors (API 617). Issued RFQs and completed bid evaluations for centrifugal and integrally-geared compressors containing lube oil systems, dry gas seal systems, gearboxes, variable speed planetary gears (Voith), and motors (including a 30,000 HP synchronous motor for a syngas compressor).

Participated in vendor inspection and witnessed testing of the machinery. Lived in Milan, Italy for 1 year as part of this international assignment.
