I am currently studying, via online correspondence, a PGDip. in Clinical Psychology, which gives me student membership of the British Psychological Society. I have recently finished an extended cycle tour of Western Europe, with my dog. This included a five month stay on a large community farm where I worked with PR, writing a blog and promoting the business and social media presence and managing the retail concession. I also managed the retail concession and was a head barman. Prior to working through Hays Recruitment agency as a care coordinator I travelled for five months in Southeast Asia, predominantly working as volunteer in earthquake relief. I also trekked in the Himalayas and partook in a motorbike trip through Vietnam and Cambodia. I am now back in the job market seeking to build upon my experience in social care, education and customer service with the advantage of a Psychology Master’s degree and training as a secondary school teacher. I am a friendly, positive, proactive, outgoing person with the ability to get on with people in all situations. I am enterprising, enthusiastic, healthy, reliable (a handful of sick days in my working life), trustworthy, punctual, meticulous and conscientious. I enjoy working as part of a team, but equally, I am able to work alone being strongly self-motivated with a seven year work history of self-employment. I have always found it a pleasure to work with people, and I am well received amongst adults as well as children and larger groups.
