• Handle full accounting for True Homes (Corporate and all divisions) and three land development subsidiaries.• Oversee month end process, financial statement analysis, and closing the books.• Manage cash flow for land subsidiaries to ensure payment will occur timely.• Participate in and review all balance sheet reconciliations for entire company.• Subject matter expert in Sage 300 functionality resulting in numerous process efficiencies as well as more streamlined reporting for Managing Partners.• Lead bi-weekly cost to date and variance analysis meetings with Project Managers and Executives.• Worked with our operations team to revamp our rebate billing process resulting in more efficient billing as well as collection of receipts in a more timely manner.• Perform income statement consolidation for True Homes.• Supervise, mentor, and train two staff accountant, AP staff, and other business partners on efficiencies, policy changes, and any new process being implemented.• Work directly with business partners on all inquiries related to payments, etc.• Oversaw the creation, implementation, and continued development of accounting policies and procedures for a new segment of the business.• Work with auditors on schedule inquiries, fixed assets, as well as balance sheet reconciliation questions.

• Handle accounting for Joint Ventures in multiple districts throughout the county.• Perform monthly close allocations, accruals, and re-class entries. • Scrub all properties to ensure accuracy while completing monthly reconciliations.• Perform detail review of peer’s financial statement preparation.• Work directly with business partners (banks, equity partners, vendors) on all inquiries related to payments or funding for the next draw.

• Manage cash and equivalents for the Duke Energy Progress entity. • Ensure new policies and procedures are being followed.• Conduct monthly bank and account reconciliations for the balance sheet.• Subject matter expert for cash allowing for cross-efficiencies.• Assist with preparation for the 10-K and the 10-Q.• Perform monthly FERC to GAAP entries to allow for accurate reporting.
