Represent the interests of dental students on legislative and regulatory issues that impact the dental profession. Help launch grassroots initiatives to promote action-oriented advocacy in support of dental students and the patients they serve. Support chapter legislative leaders in ways to engage their students to become involved in advocacy efforts.

Serving as Liaison for Legislative Committee and Practice Management, overseeing budget management for both subcommittees. My duties have included partnering with our Wisconsin Dental Association to obtain more student representation on professional committees. While also providing updates on current legislation to our student body through advocacy pitstops.

Promote and lead Dental Spanish Nights, create translation cards, and participate in General Body and Executive board meetings, fostering effective communication and teamwork while promoting increased access to Spanish speaking patients.

Served as Marquette ASDA’s Membership Chair while being the liaison for our events committee. Helped secure locations and events for our ASDA Fever week promoting ASDA involvement to our incoming first year students. While enhancing member engagement and heightened awareness among incoming students regarding the valuable benefits ASDA offers throughout.

Proactively facilitated community engagement by coordinating volunteering opportunities for the Girls on the Run 5k event. Initiated efforts to reinstate Kids Wellness Day at MUSOD, demonstrating leadership and commitment to promoting health and well-being within the community.
