Represent the interests of dental students on legislative and regulatory issues that impact the dental profession. Help launch grassroots initiatives to promote action-oriented advocacy in support of dental students and the patients they serve. Support chapter legislative leaders in ways to engage their students to become involved in advocacy efforts.

Serving as Liaison for Legislative Committee and Practice Management, overseeing budget management for both subcommittees. My duties have included partnering with our Wisconsin Dental Association to obtain more student representation on professional committees. While also providing updates on current legislation to our student body through advocacy pitstops.

Promote and lead Dental Spanish Nights, create translation cards, and participate in General Body and Executive board meetings, fostering effective communication and teamwork while promoting increased access to Spanish speaking patients.

Served as Marquette ASDA’s Membership Chair while being the liaison for our events committee. Helped secure locations and events for our ASDA Fever week promoting ASDA involvement to our incoming first year students. While enhancing member engagement and heightened awareness among incoming students regarding the valuable benefits ASDA offers throughout their academic journey and future clinical practice.

Proactively facilitated community engagement by coordinating volunteering opportunities for the Girls on the Run 5k event. Initiated efforts to reinstate Kids Wellness Day at MUSOD, demonstrating leadership and commitment to promoting health and well-being within the community.

Tasked with creating and organizing a schedule that incorporated 30+ staff members during the peak firework season (May-September). Utilizing interpersonal skills worked on the sales floor to aid customers in placing orders and checking out at the Point of Sale systems.

Successfully oversaw a team of College Resident Assistants, providing leadership and guidance to enhance the residential experience. Managed budgets for Community Councils, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Addressed and resolved parental concerns related to residential living, demonstrating strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Contributed to the creation of a positive and supportive living environment for students.

Worked as a research assistant in Dr. Ryan King's laboratory where I developed skills such as creating stock solutions, care for research specimen, use of autoclave sterilization system. During this time worked on research focusing on the stem cell regeneration time of flatworms while inhibiting genes that aided in their healing functions through feeding specimen mutated double stranded RNA.

Facilitated community-building activities, addressed resident concerns, and promoted a sense of belonging.
