I am a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant at Temple Health Chestnut Hill Hospital, and part-time Nursing Student at Delaware Technical and Community College, working toward an Associate's Degree. I am a compassionate, hard-working and dedicated CNA with experience in both hospital and Post-Acute rehabilitation settings. In my current role, I provide excellent patient care to a diverse population on the Med/Surg/Tele floor of Temple Health Chestnut Hill Hospital. This includes taking and charting vitals and blood sugars, feeding assistance, ambulating, ADLs, and caring for patient's personal hygiene. I also assist the nurses and other staff in their daily tasks. I am a member of the Wound Care Team, "Skin Savers", who review hospital acquired pressure injuries to come up with a patient care plan and identify preventative measures and treatments. Additionally, I perform EKGs and transport patients to and from procedures as needed. In previously roles, I gained experience at a variety of professions including PT Assistant at Mike Walsh Physical Therapy in Dover, Apprentice in the Carpenter's Union of Delaware, and Line Cook at Irish Eyes Pub and Restaurant. I gained invaluable knowledge from each of these roles in different specialties, ultimately leading me to discover an affinity for patient care and nursing.
