Jonathan Kongbo is an American football linebacker for the Denver Broncos of the NFL. He also holds the distinction of a 2X Grey Cup Champion in the CFL, playing for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2019 and 2021. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Jonathan moved to Canada at 5 years old with his family. Growing up in Vancouver, BC, Jonathan wasn’t introduced to football until his final year of high school. His work ethic, natural abilities, and ambition led him to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he worked tirelessly on and off the field to achieve a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. Jonathan prides himself in his ability to make genuine connections and has devoted himself to help the next generation find their path both athletically and academically. His ability to speak fluently in English, French, Lingala, and Swahili enables him to connect with people of various backgrounds.
