I worked with robot assembly and testing at ABB robotics as my summer job. Besides working closely with colleagues to ensure short assembly times, others responsibilities included placing orders, refilling inventory and communicating with other departments.

I had a summer job at goods receiving and distribution, where I completed my vocational training. There I worked with registering and labelling goods for transport or shipping to other parts of the storage along with a few other co-workers. There it was especially important understand the product flow and be able to treat deliveries differently depending on their destination, which was a great exercise in work management.

The Volvo Group offered a one-year vocational training 'Volvosteget' in co-operation with Eskilstuna Technical College. It consisted of education and storage work with supervisors in six different departments, with work tasks ranging from truck driving to product packaging.Volvosteget offered me a chance to learn about modern industries and logistics, an experience that left me with a curiosity and enthusiasm that ultimately led to my decision to pursue an engineering degree.
