Work scope • Present weekly/ monthly meetings to US management (Senior Program management and Senior Engineering manager) to closure of outstanding issue before Customer Source Inspection (CSI).• Direct interface with customers during CSI to understand their concerns, proposed ideas with clearance from R&D and execute asap to close the gap. (To customize customer needs)• Hold weekly meeting with engineers understand supplier incoming quality, reviewed rejects and provide advice to them to define the root cause.• Occasionally, Gemba walk the assembly line with them to see any improvement can be made in assembly method, efficiency, cycle-time study. Include safety concern.• Gave guiding to solve technical issues, encourage them to redline drawings as short- term plan to allow production flow. Work with US design team to solve for long term plan.• Assess subordinate (16 paxs) performance review regularly. Coach them on those paths they should improve on, share with them professional article that will help them along the way. For New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and Supply Chain support.• Monitor engineers follow up and closed NPI Tracking Issue list through Beta and Pilot Built. Improvise error proving method (Poka-Yoke) for them. • Encourage and brainstorm with team to create Product Requirement Standard (PRS) documents to cater localize build needs and cost down, such as adding alternative material in Engineering drawing, which is more available in Asia region, set criteria for critical components.• Bridge between US counterpart and local Contract Manufacturer (CM) on Manufacturing Activities (Copy Exact, First Article Build, Qualifying and Problem solving on supplier technical issues). (Managed to reduce new product (Epik868) issues from 243 items to 8 items within five months).• Knowledge and certified of IPC-A-610 CIS Certified (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) to meet Industrial standard on cable assemblies.

• Worked with US Design team to transfer new project from California Milpitas. Operating Method Sheet (WI) is created through First Article after understanding the tool’s functioning and limitation. • Structure the Bill of Material (BOM) to load into Enovia, Matrix-One and SAP. To review all drawing design work then ECO them into system.• Driving Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) – Cost cutting, Cycle Time improvement, Lean management practice by reassess the work space for more efficiency and safe. Revisit the assembly process to reduce unnecessary action.• Creating a system route (eQuality & Traveller) on new product for production usage.• Host escalation yield and issues through weekly and monthly meeting on all assembly and functionally matters on both in-house and supplier end.• Designed Jig and Fixture to improve cycle time and assembly idiot proofing (reduce or eliminate assembly mistake). • Analyse and disposition of Non-Conformance (NC) issues. Assess supplier 8D and 7 step Failure analysis. I also drive failure analysis 7 Steps for company customers.• Propose replacement part to End of Life parts.
