Teaching Assistant course Solution Architecture, whose purpose is to introduce the student to the different methodologies, strategies, and good design practices of a solution architecture. The course examines from different levels of abstraction the tasks faced by an IT architect. First, taking into account the business requirements and the quality attributes of the system, the solution is defined at a general level, in which only externally visible elements are identified and analyzed. Subsequently, design techniques, patterns and architectural styles are studied for each of the identified elements. Then, architecture evaluation techniques are presented to validate compliance with business requirements and required quality attributes, all in the context of a service-oriented architecture. Finally, a tour of the software components involved in large business solutions is made.
