I am a North Carolina State University sophomore pursuing a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. I have found a passion for using computer engineering and computer science to advance scientific research and engineering advancements.I am currently working as an undergraduate research assistant, developing a network of sensors to monitor noise pollution and initializing the campus’s first open IoT platform for research and data collection. I also had several opportunities to work with industry professionals, apply for research grants, and present my research at conferences. I am also working with the University Honors Program at NC State University to modernize public communication and media production. During my employment, I led the development of the program’s first media server, produced several high-quality informative videos, and led the development of a video series discussing several Honors Program features.Outside of work-related experiences, I am in the process of starting a non-profit organization, Students Leading Collaborative Computing, aimed at serving underrepresented high school and middle school students through Computer Science and Electronical and Computer Engineering mentorship and workshops. The organization aims to inspire students to enroll in higher education with a specific interest in engineering fields. I also have the opportunity to serve as the treasurer, conference chair, and outreach coordinator for the Quantum Computing Club (formerly Quantum Information Club), an organization that aims to educate students on the groundbreaking technology and advocate for its interdisciplinary research and application. I have had the privilege to work with various companies, including IBM to fund and support the organization.
