Creating digital objects for Kingspan materials on Revit

In the last couple of years my role has been extended to conducting site visits to survey floor areas for design of the VIP layouts. Most other roles persist through to this.

My role within Kingspan adapted to include a new product, Vacuum Insulated Panels. Although many of my previous additional roles continued into this role (AutoCAD development, school visits, fire marshal & health and safety) the scope changed as the use of VIP insulation extends beyond just the roof areas that the tapered insulation focused on. Role involved the designing of tapered board layouts to efficiently drain water from flat roofs. Although not part of my role originally, I inherited the role of developing LISP routines to automate and simplify tasks and routines. This extended when Dynamic blocks were introduced into AutoCAD enabling more options to help speed up design and quantity production.I also attended a Fire marshal training course at the Fire Training College at Morton-in-Marsh and maintained a role in the fire safety and prevention team.I was enrolled into the health and safety office committee where I partook in regular risk assessments and was a contact point for employees to voice/report related concerns.Another additional role that I was given was that of liaison and trainer for groups of school children from various local schools as part of their career training weeks. This involved organizing factory tours, practical activities and presentations, maintaining a sufficient entertainment level to keep the visit enjoyable for them. Show less

Responsibilities included the mixing of inks to be used in flexographic printing presses for packaging including mailshots, food packaging (including bread and crisp packets), and toilet rolls. Managing the stock levels of the base colours to be used and recycling of the used inks. Also managed solvent stocks for use on the printing presses.
