I am a highly motivated and hard-working graduate student studying electrical & computer engineering focusing on embedded systems development (hardware and software). I have a background and undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering, specializing in medical device design, biological signal processing, and imaging. I am interested in R&D and embedded software/hardware roles in the medical device and consumer health industries.I have professional and academic experience in low-level/embedded firmware development (C/C++), i.e. designing, coding, and testing software that runs directly on microcontrollers to control hardware systems (on medical devices). This includes configuring and managing low-level hardware interfaces such as GPIO pins, timers, interrupts, communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART), and on-chip/external peripheral devices.Furthermore, I have experience in rapid prototyping, for both mechanical and electrical systems. I am experienced in hardware development, spanning from schematic design to PCB layout and fabrication, as well as hardware debugging and testing. I have designed multilayer boards using eCAD softwares like Altium, KiCAD, and Fusion360. I also am experienced in mechanical design, developing testing fixtures and housings in SolidWorks.Finally, I also have experience developing and executing testing procedures relating to V&V and performance and have experience using Python to develop automated system tests.
