I was contracted to assess and upgrade the frontend codebase of an internal campaigning application that used Java 8, Springboot, Thymeleaf, and JQuery. The main goal was to move to a modern React web application. After auditing the application and its impact I determined it was not a good return on investment given the resources available and the limited.
