Working in-house for a 20,000 seat Arena, encompassing an Entertainment District containing Restaurants, Bars, Night Clubs, an 11 screen Cinema, 2500 capacity car parking and the David Beckham Football Academy. I managed over 15 staff, to include Control Room Operators, Supervisors and Security Officers. I assisted before the grand opening by creating procedures and helping set up the security systems. I would often perform the role of Duty Co-Ordinator, acting as second in command to the Security Manager for the entire complex. Working closely with the dedicated onsite Police, Fire, Ambulance and dog teams I would a ‘hands on’ approach ensuring correct escalation procedures during incidents. Common responses include Fire Alarm Response, Suspect Package Alerts, First Aid Incidents, Ejections and Anti-Social behavior. I ensure consistent compliance with Data Protection, performing regular audits and involving myself with all forms of report writing/recording of all incidents. I performed regular training and performance reviews with staff, ensuring a consistent excellent level of customer service, adapting to an ever changing and competitive market.

My Role involved the supervision and training of Control Room Operators and Security Officers, organizing daily rosters and duties for them, booking on staff, controlling absences and ensuring full attendance as per the client contract. I would perform the role of second in command, providing cover for my own and other Duty Managers. I would escalate incidents involving report writing and investigations, KPI monitoring, liaising with senior Credit Suisse staff and implementing any requests from them. My role involved monitoring European, Middle Eastern and African CCTV and alarm activation's, incident monitoring, access/egress control and subsequent issue and maintenance of ID cards, Health and Safety reporting, switchboard operations and administration.

My role involved the supervision and monitoring of other departments and staff, working as second in command to the Security Manager.
