The device was designed to aid anyone that needs medical assistance to bend their knees. The device was made of sheet metal and bar stock, as well as binding straps to ensure the leg was secure. The device was powered by a linear actuator that assists when a person begins the process, either by manual operation or muscle-activation detection.

Designed and built Pawn and Tray sorter exclusively for Junior Engineering group project. The goal of the project was to sort two stacks of differently colored pawns into multiple trays. Specific individual task was to program pneumatic cylinders with PLC to designate a pattern of 9 pawns in a tray. Also assisted team in designing, prototyping and assembling sheet metal and 3D printed parts to achieve project goal.

Project required computations for concrete and rebar for retaining wall and privacy wall footing as well as construction of 10' x 15' concrete wall which had stone facings. Attached to the wall and house was a 12’ x 15’ wooden deck. To complete project, sourcing and procuring materials before building was required. Project required design, budgeting and completion during summer break.
