SkillsMy skills are quite varied as I have edited videos utilising Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Flash, Illustrator, Audition, Photoshop and even Encore for creating DVD Menus. Alongside of these programs I have knowledge of Autodesk’s 3DS Max, Mudbox and Maya, Corel Draw and PhotoPaint. I have been editing videos for about 3 years, mainly for a YouTube channel.As part of my YouTube based work I have developed a penchant towards opening sequences, this has led to an ability to assemble the overarching themes of a franchise and create a new and unique sequence exploiting them. This links with my dissertation choice which was a study of opening sequences culminating in using what was learnt to craft one of my own.When working I am quite conscientious, I am skilled and experienced at working to deadlines and am confident when discussing work to an audience. Reading is one of my passions, therefore proof reading documents is something I am good at. I am quite adaptable and can pick up the basics of new things fairly swiftly. My imagination is one of my biggest strengths, it is this imagination that allows me to work out new and creative solutions to various problems I may find myself faced with.InterestsMy main interest is in Computer Games, I spend a lot of time in activities related to them. The main activity is playing them; however I have done some projects, in the form of partial design documents and video assignments themed to games. My other interests are in computer graphic designs. These projects are often characters that feature within the Games I have designed. Other graphic designs I have created are amateur and professional T-shirt designs created via vector graphics within the Corel Draw software.
